Modern Bliss Health and Wellness provides telehealth and medical concierge services. We provide high quality and affordable care in the state of Maryland. We will be expanding services in Florida, DC, Arizona and California. Due to this unique model you are able to have access to your provider sooner than your traditional setting. Same day appointments, virtual, home or office visits are available to those who qualify. Rest assured that during your appointments you will get the care that you deserve by not feeling rushed and all matters would be handled during your session.

Lauren Appiah, DNPc, MPH, MSN, FNP-C
A nurse practitioner accredited by American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Bowie State University in 2011. During her time as a nurse, Lauren has worked at the world renowned Johns Hopkins University Hospital and University of Maryland Medical Center Shock Trauma. She obtained various skills in rehabilitation, critical care, trauma, psychiatric and cardiac settings. While working she saw many chronic diseases and illnesses that she believed could be prevented with the proper patient education. She then went back to school obtaining a Master in Public Health in 2016, specializing in Epidemiology and Health Education Health Promotion. Public health has revealed the lack of access to care due to a major shortage of providers. She realized that she would have a greater impact in people's lives as a provider. She then enrolled at Maryville University and earned a Master of Science in Nursing in 2018. With her entrepreneurial spirit she opened up Modern Bliss Health and Wellness to bridge the gap and provide quality holistic healthcare with a public health focus. As a lifelong learner, Lauren is enrolled at The Johns Hopkins University for Doctoral of Nursing Practice with a concentration in Executive Health Leadership. She hopes to utilize her extensive education and experiences to promote health and wellness education within the underserved communities with community events. In addition to all of her professional achievements, her biggest title is mom to her lovely daughter.
